The season at the Jefferson County Speedway has now drawn to a close with the National Open Wheel 600 Series finale happening over the weekend on Saturday, August 19.Being able to end their season a on high note in the A-Main Restricted Micros was Cale Lagroon of Salina, KS., taking first, along with Hank Soares finishing up second and Ollie Geiger of Blair, NE., moving up from the ninth spot all the way to third. In A-Main A-Class Micros it was Elijah Gile of Phoenix, AZ., that was able to stay in first to claim that class, followed by Brant Woods Chickasha, OK., jumping from the 10th to the second place finish, and Gaige Weldon of Hinton, IA., able to go from ninth to third.Weldon was able to make the most of his time in the Non-Wing Micros taking first in that class. Jett Hays of Forth Worth, TX., came in with second, and Elijah Gile was able to get third. The Sportspman Micros A Feature one class had Blake Mikesell of Concordia, KS., as he made the jump from fifth to first in that class. Rayce Lockman of Wellington, CO., was able to stay locked in and finished with second place, and Tracy Saathoff of Beatrice moved up four spots from seventh to take third.Finally in the MOD Lites Justin Kinderknecht of Salina, KS., was able to go up three spots and take first, Dalton Bell of Hoisington, KS., found a way to move five spots up as he took second, and Andrue Halpain of Salina, KS., was able to come in with third.
