Lincoln Woman Charged with Motor Vehicle Homicide Fails To Appear in Court for the Third Time

Raquel A. Bredemeier, 30, of Lincoln, failed to appear in Jefferson County District Court as ordered on Thursday, November 2. This is the third time she has failed to appear for a scheduled court hearing. On October 7, a warrant was issued for her arrest by the presiding judge, Vicky L. Johnson.Bredemeier is charged with unintentional motor vehicle homicide. Family of the deceased have appeared in court for each hearing that Bredemeier missed.Bredemeier was represented by Public Defender Scott Gropp, who told FJN the defendant had recently retained new counsel, Carlos Monzon of Lincoln.
