A day after winning the right to be called District 3 wrestling champion in the 185-pound division, Makena Schramm was back into her training, and when asked if she had taken a moment to smell the roses, Schramm only said, “Thank you sir, but the job’s not done yet.” Entering the Girls State Wrestling tournament on Feb. 17 Schramm was sporting a dominating record of 23-1.
