Speedway Races Thrill Fans In Fairbury

Jefferson County Speedway held another series of JayHusker racing over the weekend with results from Saturday as follows:Coming away with the top three finishes of the Restricted Micros A Feature 1 was Cale Lagroon of Salina, KS taking first, Haidyn Hansesn of North Platte came in second, and Sawyer Kiner of Aurora took third.In the A-Class Micros the top three finishes came from Jesse Pate of Auburn, KS grabbing first, while Jaydn Friesen and Jason Friesen both of Sutton finished in the top three with Jaydn taking second and third going to Jason.Non-Wing Micros top three racers were Keegan Ostantowski of Columbus getting first, Garret Hake of Concordia, KS grabbed second, and Jackson Kounkel of Sioux City, IA was able to get third.The sportsman Micros A Feature 1 top three racers were Colton Czapaniskiy of Clyde KS earning first, Todd Laflin of Beatrice came in second, and Blake Spicer of Marysville, KS made a big leap from the 10th spot to get third.In MOD lites Justin Kinderknecht of Salina, KS won first, Scott Naggatz of Carter Lake, IA was able to get second, and Taylor Pollock of Prague finished third.The Sport Compact top three finishers were Toby Ambrose of Daykin getting first, Hallie Borgman of Beatrice was able to place second, and Brin McAtee of Firth managed to place third. Finally in the Trucks Heather Straub of Clay Center, KS was able to place first, Samuel Rookstool of Clay Center, KS notched second, and Shane Hay of Kansas was able to place third.The Jefferson County Speedway’s next race will be on Friday, August 18 with Tooleys F-Town Throwdown with the National Open Wheel 600 Series.
