Landsharks Look To End SlideFairbury Landshark Seniors run into defensive troubles as they lose four straight, 4-8 to Sutton on June 14, a close 5-6 game against Adams on June 15, a tough loss of 2-10 against Auburn on June 16 and then would lose 1-6 to Twin River on June 18.Fairbury now sits with a record of (5-11) on the season.Trojans Shut Out KearneyTri County Senior Legion had a full June 17 as the Seniors suffered their first loss of the season in a tight 1-2 walk-off victory by their opponents Sutton Seniors.Tri County would bounce back with a resounding shutout victory 9-0 against Kearney to end their Saturday on a high note. Then on June 18 Tri County carried the momentum into the next game coming away with another 9-1 victory against Smith Center.Tri County is now at (13-1) on the season.Wilber Pick Up 9-2 WinWilber Seniors Post 101 were able to pull away with a 9-2 victory against Hebron on June 14. Wilber with a record of (10-6) will return home this week as they will be hosting American Legion UBC Badgers on Friday, June 23.Hebron Breaks Even Last WeekHebron Senior Legion Post #180 go through a roller-coaster week on the way to going 2-2.On June 14 Hebron was unable to get the bats going and defense on point as they lost 2-9 to Wilber.Hebron bounced back June 17 by having a solid 3-1 victory against Smith Center Blue Raiders, would lose 3-5 on June 18 to Millard, but would have the bats come alive in their last game of the weekend winning 14-9 against Elkhorn.Hebron Seniors with the win bring their record up to (4-7).Wymore Almost Stages ComebackWymore Seniors nearly completes the comeback but lost in the high scoring affair 14-15 against Marysville on June 13.Wymore will be back home against Tri County on June 22 as Wymore comes into this week with a record of (5-9).
